Fourth, better market access and price realization. Digital marketplaces must move beyond displaying prices to enabling aggregation, quality standardization, logistics, payments, and reliable transactions that help farmers participate in competitive markets.

The AgriTech ecosystem often celebrates downloads, registrations, digital transactions, and platform adoption. These metrics indicate digital reach, but they do not necessarily reflect agricultural progress.
The more meaningful measure is economic value created for farmers. Have production costs declined? Have yields improved? Have risks reduced? Have farmers received better prices? Has household income increased?
These outcomes, not user numbers, should define the success of agricultural innovation. Technology should be deployed because it creates measurable value across the farming ecosystem.
