Part II - Are you a Centripetal Or a centrifugal force?

Recap: Building on the foundation of understanding human connection, this continuation ‘Are you Centripetal or Centrifugal’ explores how cultivating our inner qualities—aligned with universal principles—can transform our ability to attract positive relationships. By recognizing whether we exert a centripetal (attractive) or centrifugal (repelling) force through our behaviour and attitude, we can consciously develop the qualities that draw others toward us. Inspired by timeless wisdom and the idea that we are made in the image of universal intelligence, this article guides you on how to harness your inner power, refine your character, and ultimately succeed in environments like job interviews by becoming the person who naturally attracts success. This article is a continuation of Are you a Centripetal Or a centrifugal force?

The Power in the Centripetal Force: If we want to reach our goals in life, we need to be like a “Centripetal” force. This means we should be the kind of person who draws others in with kindness and support. Remember from my previous article, no one can succeed alone. We all need people around us—friends, family, colleagues—to help us grow, improve, and achieve what we want. We don’t just need support in one part of life but in all areas, covering everything we do. So, the big question is: how can we become that “Centripetal” force? The answer isn’t complicated, and that’s what I want to explore in this article.

The Power of Kindness and Connection

Think about someone you have met or admired—perhaps a friend, a teacher, a leader, or even a famous personality—who is known for their kindness and understanding. This person’s warmth makes others feel comfortable and valued. They could be someone you have interacted with closely or someone you only observe from afar, like Mother Teresa, a sports star, a politician, or a philosopher. Their ability to inspire and unite people is remarkable. Similarly, imagine the Universe’s Intelligence (UI)—the divine or spiritual power that many worship. People travel long distances to visit places dedicated to this divine presence, enduring hardships and delays, just to stand close and feel connected. They understand that approaching the UI is a way to find unity and strength.

What these examples show us is that “Centripetal” forces are rooted in qualities like kindness, humility, and a desire to connect with others. When we possess these qualities, we naturally become the centre of a positive pull that brings people together. This attraction can create a supportive community where everyone feels trusted and motivated to work for common goals. It’s like how the universe or divine energy pulls us closer to a sense of purpose and belonging.

Balancing Forces of Unity and Separation

But, just as there are “Centripetal” forces nurturing unity, there are also “Centrifugal” forces that do the opposite. These are the things that push people apart, cause disagreements, or foster feelings of not liking someone hence rejection as in job interviews. When selfishness, anger, or misunderstanding take over, they act as barriers, making it harder for people to connect. Recognizing these negative forces is crucial because it guides us to avoid actions that create a rejection. Instead, we should aim to strengthen the “Centripetal” qualities within ourselves, cultivating patience, empathy, and selflessness.

Connecting Through Shared Humanity and Spiritual Places

In larger communities and even on a global scale, these forces remain at play. For example, places of worship or spiritual centres serve as symbols of “Centripetal” energy. They remind us of our shared human spirit and our common connection to something greater than ourselves. People willingly travel long distances to reach these places, often overcoming hardships, to experience that feeling of unity and divine connection. This shows how deeply rooted the desire is in us to belong, to connect, and to be part of something meaningful.

Choosing Kindness to Foster Unity

Ultimately, becoming a “Centripetal” force is a conscious choice – if one wishes to succeed in just about any endeavour. It involves acting with kindness, showing compassion, and putting others before ourselves. When we do this, we not only help others but also create a ripple effect that encourages more people to seek unity and cooperation.

In conclusion, each of us has the power to be either a “Centripetal” or “Centrifugal” force. Our attitudes and actions will determine which one we become. To achieve our personal goals and contribute positively to society, we should aim to be the kind of person who pulls others closer through kindness, humility, and understanding. In doing so, we create a more united and stronger world for all.

If the Universe’s Intelligence (UI) can easily draw all of us toward it, it shows that the UI is a Centripetal force—a strong magnet that pulls everything closer. But what are the special qualities or traits that make the UI so attractive? What is it about the UI that makes people feel drawn to it again and again? These qualities are what make the UI a powerful force of unity and connection.

The Generosity and Power of the Universe’s Intelligence

The Universe’s Intelligence (UI) is known for being kind, understanding, forgiving, and generous. It gives freely without ever running out or hesitating. The UI does not ask questions or hold back when people ask for help. It also lifts people out of poverty, illness, worries, and difficult times, helping them move toward happiness and success. Because of this, people from all around the world travel long distances to connect with the UI, ask for what they need, and often find relief and support. This shows how powerful and caring the UI is, always willing to help those who seek its help.

Visualizing the Loving Presence of the Universe’s Intelligence

Imagine for a moment that you create a picture of the Universe’s Intelligence in your mind. How does this imaginary person look? Maybe they are dressed in simple but neat clothes. They are of medium height and have a kind, friendly face with a warm smile. Their eyes sparkle, and they stand with an open posture, arms wide as if waiting to hug you and hold you close. If you look carefully, you might see their head tilted gently to one side, as if they are listening carefully to you. Just seeing this imaginary figure makes you feel loved and safe, as if all your wishes will be granted. Don’t you think that’s how we feel when we look at images of Buddha with his eyes closed, his gentle smile giving us reassurance and peace?

Harnessing Inner Power to Create Connection

If your imagination of the UI can inspire such peace and happiness in us, what about us as humans? Can we intentionally create a similar feeling for others? After all, we are made from the same design as the UI. We look similar on the outside, and deep inside, we share many of the same qualities—kindness, love, and the ability to connect. Since we are like small copies of the UI, we also have the same powerful, attractive force within us. If we focus on developing this quality, we can naturally attract others to us, creating a magnetic, calming effect. This helps us feel like we belong. When more people come to us, we can give them what they need with an open heart, and they, in turn, will give us what we want. Through giving and receiving freely, our relationships will become richer and more meaningful.

Creating Deeper Connections Through Love and Empathy

Close your eyes for a moment and imagine how your relationship would change if you used love and understanding intentionally. How would you act to create this positive change? How would your face show your feelings? What would your eyes say? How would your smile look? How would you hold your body to show that you are truly with the other person? What gestures would you use to let them know you care and are present in their life? If you carefully align your face, eyes, body language, and words to express your compassion and connection, how would people feel about you? How would they respond? How would they treat you? How would they see you after experiencing this sincere love and understanding?

Cultivating Qualities that Attract

5. Honest

6. Forgiving

18. No excuses

19. Courteous

20. Empathetic

These qualities are what we imagine representing the Universal Intelligence — qualities that are perfect, limitless, and deeply attractive. When we develop these traits, we become a strong “Centripetal” force, naturally drawing people toward us. Such qualities have the power to unite us all and create a world full of understanding and love.

Inner Reflection and Building Genuine Connections

Besides this, it’s helpful to look inside ourselves and examine our thoughts, feelings, and motives—this is called introspection. We ask ourselves which qualities we need to improve or change. We can then intentionally replace negative traits with the qualities listed earlier, like kindness, patience, and sincerity. This process helps us to become a better person, like renewing ourselves from something old and unwanted into someone new and warmly accepted by others. With this new attitude, we feel more confident to approach people we once feared or avoided. As we act in a caring and friendly way, people start to trust and open their hearts to us. We begin to feel a strong sense of belonging with many groups because we are being genuine, wanted, and loved. Others know they can come to us, share their thoughts, and find a willing and understanding listener—without any judgment.

Emulating the Universe’s Qualities to Inspire Others

In summary, we understand that the Universe’s Intelligence (UI) created us in its own image. That means we were made to look like it on the outside and to have inside qualities similar to it too. Our personality reflects the UI’s beauty and strength, and our character reflects its goodness and principles. When we combine these two qualities—our outer appearance and inner character—we can imitate the UI. By doing this, we can create the same positive feelings in others that the UI gives us. This helps us connect and relate with people in a meaningful way.

Balancing Outer Charisma and Inner Character

The Universe’s Intelligence made two parts of a person. The first is what others see: our appearance and personality. The second is what’s inside: our character and how we genuinely feel and behave from within. To truly attract and connect with people, we need both—having a charming personality and a strong, good character. The UI has both qualities, and in the way it designed us, we also have these two powerful parts. When we develop both, we become naturally attractive and able to draw others towards us.
