The Meet

ICT Academy in association with AWS Academy organized AWS Academy Educators Meet 2019 at Hotel Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru on 24th July 2019 to help the institution leaders understand and fix the major skills gap in cloud technology.

The Focus

The Meet focused on the Introduction to AWS Academy Program, AWS Academy Course curriculum, Alexa Build Skills program, Scaling AWS Cloud Workforce and Industry Institute Interaction that enables education institutions to deliver curriculum and hands on learning experiences to prepare students for employment in Cloud roles.

The event brought together the Deans, Directors, HODs of Computer Science and Management Studies from more than 50 ICT Academy Member Institutions. Amit Rawat the Head of AWS Academy, India & SAARC, Divyanshu Verma the Senior Manager at Intel, and Ramakrishnan, Senior Technical Manager at AWS delivered the talks during the Meet.

Moreover, the retail and consumer goods sector is one of the fastest-growing sectors with regard to embracing the upand-coming and ground-breaking technologies like cloud computing, big data analytics, digital stores, and social networks. Further, the growing buying power of customers has geared up the need to gratify customer expectations and has necessitated working on the on-hand customer retention and fresh customer acquirement.
